Trade on the BSE Occurred at a Low Volume on Tuesday

The Beirut Stock Exchange (BSE) improved on Tuesday, where only 30,362 shares worth $357,019 were traded. The BLOM Stock Index (BSI) gained 0.30% to 1,180.40 points. The banking sector grasped a share of 62.96% of total traded value, with BLOM GDR shares and BEMO listed shares adding 0.10% and 8.02% to close today’s session at $9.61 and $1.75, respectively. Moreover, Audi GDRs and preferred shares class “F” inched up by 5.51% and 0.99% to $6.70 and $102, respectively. In contrast, Audi listed shares lost 1.59% to $6.20. BLOM listed shares and Audi preferred shares class “E” were traded with no change in price. In the real estate sector, Solidere “B” shares increased by 1.15% to $11.43, while class “A” shares were traded with no change in price.
