BSI Began the Week with 0.38% Increase to 1,174.98 Points

The Beirut Stock Exchange (BSE) started the week in the green, with the BLOM Stock Index (BSI) edging up by 0.38% to 1,174.98 points. Trade occurred at a low volume of 29,724 shares worth $157,932, with the banking sector taking 71% of total traded value. BLOM GDR shares and Byblos listed shares gained 0.51% and 0.63% to $9.80 and $1.61, respectively. BLOM listed shares and Audi listed shares were traded with no change in price. In the real estate sector, Solidere “A” and “B” shares added 2.32% and 0.26% to $11.47 and $11.41, respectively. In the industrial sector, Holcim shares were traded at their previous close of $15.25.
