Solidere Shares Enhance Lebanon’s Stock Market Performance Today

The Lebanese Bourse witnessed today an 8-month high with the BLOM stock index (BSI) hitting 1220.54 points, a 1.23% daily rise. The real estate sector took the lion’s share of the total traded value, with a stake of 90%. With positive political dialogue on display and the successful issuance of $2.2B Eurobonds by the government, Solidere “A” and “B” shares gained 1.60% and 4.01% to $11.40 and $11.65 respectively. Furthermore, the banking sector ended Tuesday’s session in the green with the listed shares of Audi and Blom rising by 3.84% and 0.55% to respective $6.75 and $9.10. Meanwhile, Byblos Bank Pref 09 traded with no change in the price.
