Lebanese Bourse Ended Monday’s Session with a Slight Uptick

The Beirut Stock Exchange (BSE) started the week in the green with the BLOM Stock Index (BSI) ending the session with a 0.05% uptick to 1,229.99 points. The slight improvement was mainly due to the cross trade of 6.2M Audi GDR shares that edged up by 3.70% to close at $7.00. In contrast, Byblos Bank lost 1.72% to close at $1.71. Moreover, the preferred shares’ of Byblos Bank class 09 and Bank of Beirut class “J” and “I” traded with no change in price. In the real estate sector, Solidere shares classes “A” and “B” declined by the same rate of 0.34% to end the session at $11.75 and $11.84, respectively.
