Lebanese Bourse Ended the Week Positively

The Beirut Stock Exchange continued its recent rally to end the week on a positive note. The BLOM Stock Index (BSI) increased by 0.23% to 1,204.52 points on Friday, broadening its year-to-date gains to 2.93%. In the banking sector, Bank Audi listed shares increased 0.32% to close at $6.19. In contrast, BLOM Bank listed shares declined 0.11% to $9.50, while Bank Audi preferred “G” shares traded with no change in price. In parallel, BLC preferred A shares lost 3.85% to $100.00 per share, while its preferred B and C shares traded with no change in price on the record date. In the real-estate sector, Solidere classes “A” and “B” shares gained 0.44% and 1.68% to close at $11.51 and $11.52, respectively. In the industrial sector, HOLCIM shares rose for the second day running by 1.19% to a closing price of $16.18.
