Real Estate Sector Drags the Lebanese Bourse Down Today

The Lebanese Bourse experienced a negative performance on the back of a poor performance of the real estate sector. Consequently, the BLOM Stock Index (BSI) went down by 0.04% to 1,192.00 points, narrowing its year-to-date gains to 1.86%. In the real estate sector, Solidere shares class “A” and “B” lost 0.34% and 0.17% to close at the same price of $11.60, respectively. In the banking sector, Bank Audi preferred shares class “G” gained 0.60% to $100.60, while BLOM Bank listed, GDR and preferred shares 2011 and Byblos Bank preferred shares 2008 traded with no change in price.
