The Lebanese Bourse recovered from yesterday’s session, mainly due to five out of the ten traded stocks ending in the green while only one revealed a decline. Thus, the BLOM Stock Index (BSI) went up by 0.17% to 1,188.70 points, broadening its year-to-date gains to 1.58%. In the banking sector, Byblos Bank listed and preferred 2009 shares gained 0.62% and 0.10% to respective quotes of $1.63 and $100.90. In addition, BLOM Bank GDR shares and Bank Audi preferred shares class “H” rose by 0.30% and 0.60% to $10.00 and $100.60, respectively. In contrast, Bank Audi GDR shares lost 0.96% to settle at $6.19. Meanwhile, Bank Audi listed and preferred shares class “G” traded with no change in price. In the real estate sector, Solidere shares class “B” increased by 2.08% to $11.80 while class “A” shares closed at their previous quote of $11.64.
