The Lebanese Bourse experienced a downturn today, probably due to the riots that took place in the Downtown area. Accordingly, the BLOM Stock Index (BSI) lost 0.35% to 1,178.78 points. In the banking sector, Bank Byblos listed shares and BLOM Bank GDR shares dropped by 0.62% and 0.70% to settle at $1.61 and $9.93, respectively. In contrast, Bank Audi preferred shares class “G” gained 0.30% to close the session at $100.50. In the real estate sector, Solidere shares class “A” and “B” decelined by 1.30% and 1.21% to end up at respective quotes of $11.43 and $11.42.
