At 13:50 Beirut time, the Euro was quoted to be $/€ 1.10211, up by 0.05% from Monday’s close.
In fact, the euro might be supported by a good reading for the ZEW survey which is related to” the situation on the financial markets and the business situation of the information economy as well as the large-scale annual study on innovation activities in the German economy”.
Locally, the Lebanese Pound steadied versus the Dollar at LP/$ 1,505-1,509 with a mid-price of LP/$ 1,507.
Compared to the pool of currencies of Lebanon’s major trading partners, the purchasing power of the Lebanese pound slipped as reflected by the NEER, published by BLOMINVEST, which ticked down by 0.13% to 166.53 today.
