6 out of 8 Traded Stocks Ended in the Red Today

The Lebanese Bourse experienced a lackluster performance as 6 out of the 8 traded stocks ended in the red. The BLOM Stock Index (BSI) slipped by 0.96% to 1,166.52 points, thereby registering its lowest level since January 14th this year. In the real estate sector, Solidere class “A” and “B” shares declined by 1.50% and 1.15% to respective quotes of $11.19 and $11.20, possibly due to today being the shares’ ex-dividend date. In the banking sector, Bybos Bank listed shares and the GDR shares of Bank Audi dropped by 1.82% and 7.14% to settle at $1.62 and $5.59, respectively. Furthermore, BLOM Bank GDR shares and its preferred 2011 shares fell by 0.40% and 0.49% to $9.98 and $10.10, respectively.  In the industrial sector, Ciment Blancs Bearer shares improved by 9.27% to end up at $3.30.
