The BLOM Bond Index (BBI), which tracks Lebanese government Eurobonds (excluding coupon payments), fell sharply by 8.33% in the week ending 27 March 2025 to 17.1 points. This decline reflects political divisions, IMF Challenges, and geopolitical tensions

Meanwhile, geopolitical tensions, economic uncertainty and rising inflationary pressures in the U.S. kept global bond markets on edge.
