All Traded Stocks Started the Week in the Red

The Lebanese Bourse started the week in the red, where all traded stocks experienced a drop in price. This translated into the BLOM Stock Index (BSI) declining by 1.39% to 1,187.73 points, narrowing its year-to-date gains to 1.49%. In the banking sector, Bank Audi listed shares lost 1.45% to settle at $6.10. Similarly, Byblos Bank common shares decreased by 7.43% to close the session at $1.62. In addition, Byblos Bank preferred 2008 and 2009 shares downturned by 2.53% each to the same price of $100, noting that today Byblos shares started trading ex-dividend. In the real-estate sector, Solidere classes “A” and “B” shares edged down by 1.48% and 2.00% to end up at respective quotes of $11.34 and $11.29.
