Beirut Stock Exchange Recovered Some of Yesterday’s losses

With the improved performance in the real estate sector, the BLOM Stock Index (BSI) gained 0.19% to 1,156.07 points, narrowing its year-date loss to 1.21%. In the real estate sector, Solidere shares classes “A” and “B” increased by 0.97% and 3.58% to end the trading day at $10.39 and $10.12, respectively.  In the banking sector, Audi listed shares traded at $6.10, 0.49% higher than Tuesday’s quote. In contrast, Byblos listed shares and BLOM GDR shares declined by 1.83% and 0.82% to settle at respective quotes of $1.61 and $9.67. Meanwhile, BLOM preferred shares 2011 traded with no change in price.
