Central Bank Releases an Announcement Related to Currency Conversion at Point – of – Sales
On June 4th, 2026, BDL released announcement #980 directed to banks and financial institutions in addition to the institutions that issued bank cards related to currency conversion at point-of-sales (POS). This announcement followed the Ministry of Finance’s installation of POS machines at its premises to collect some taxes in LBP through cards.
