Cumulative Construction Permits Rose Yearly by 2.82% to 1,349 by February 2026

Lebanon saw a cumulative 2.82% year-on-year (YoY) rise in construction permits to 1,349 by February 2026. The increase is primarily due to a more stable security environment, despite ongoing strikes in certain regions.

Moreover, construction activity increased across most governorates except for North Lebanon, and Bekaa.

Similarly, the Cumulative Construction Area Authorized by Permits (CAP) also rose by 6.81% to 1,410,498 square meters (sqm) by February 2026.
