Exceptionally High Traded Value on the Lebanese Bourse Today
The BLOM Stock Index (BSI) declined by 0.04% 1,170.57 points following the trade of 851,446 shares worth $15,555,853. The BSI registered a 0.03% up tick since the start of the year, and a 2.82% decline from its value a year ago. In the real estate sector, Solidere A and B shares rose by 0.27% and 1.56% to $10.99 and $11.05, respectively. In the industrial sector, HOLCIM shares shed 2.52% to $15.10 while Ciments Blanc went up by 6.06% to $3.50. In the banking sector, Byblos listed shares lost 1.21% to $1.63. Meanwhile, Bank of Beirut’s listed shares, BLOM’s GDR and Preferred 2011 shares, Byblos’ preferred 09 shares and Audi’s preferred F and G shares were traded without any change in price.
