Lebanese Bourse Remained Relatively Stable on Wednesday

The Lebanese Bourse remained relatively stable on Wednesday, on the back of positive performance in the real estate which was offset by a negative outlook on the banking sector. This translated into the BLOM Stock Index (BSI) slightly dipping by 0.002% to 1,194.89 points, recording a year-to-date increase of 2.10%. In the real-estate sector, Solidere classes “A” and “B” shares gained 0.44% and 0.09% to settle at respective quotes of $11.38 and $11.26. In the banking sector, Bank Audi GDR shares lost 0.76% to close the session at $6.55, while BLOM Bank GDR shares exchanged hands with no change in price, noting that 40,000 of them were cross traded.
