Lebanese Bourse Up on Monday

Monday’s trading session saw the BLOM Stock Index (BSI) rise by 0.07% to 1,183.79 points following the trade of 494,304 shares worth $1,502,260. The BSI registered a 1.16% uptick since the start of the year, and a 1.42% drop from its value a year ago. In the real estate sector, Solidere A and B shares grew by 0.17% and 0.62% to end the session at $11.63 and $11.42, respectively. In the banking sector, Bank Byblos’ preferred 09 shares added 0.30% to reach $101.30 while Bank Audi’s preferred G shares and Bank Bemo’s preferred 2013 shares shed 0.10% and 0.99% to close at $100.10 and $100.00, respectively. Bank of Beirut’s listed shares, Bank Byblos’ listed shares, BLOM Bank’s GDR and preferred 2011 shares were traded without any change in price.
