Lebanese Eurobonds down by 0.03% on Monday
Demand for medium-term Lebanese Eurobonds slightly weakened on Monday as the BLOM Bond Index (BBI) revealed a 0.03% slip to 107.23 points, broadening its year-to-date loss to 0.23%. The yield on the 10Y Lebanese Eurobonds remained at 6.06% while that of the 5Y went up by 1 basis point (bp) to 5.17%. The spread between the yield on the 5Y Lebanese Eurobonds and its US comparable narrowed by 5 bps to 345 bps, bearing in mind that the demand for medium term US notes fell on Monday. The Lebanese 5Y Credit Default Swaps (CDS) steadied at 355-380 bps for the 7th consecutive session.
