BDL’s latest statistics on money supply revealed that Broad Money (M3) decreased by LBP 21,482.49 billion to stand at LBP 6,023,890 billion ($67.31 billion) by the week ending November 6th, 2025. Furthermore, M3 decreased by 3.28% year-over-year, and by 2.10% year to date (YTD).

In details, M1 contracted by LBP 2,412.09 billion during the week of 30 October to 6 November 2025, due to a decrease in demand deposits of LBP 3,344.10 billion and an increase in currency in circulation of LBP 932.01 billion.

In turn, total deposits (excluding demand deposits) fell by LBP 19,070.39 billion ($213.08 million), driven by a $209.25 million decline in deposits denominated in foreign currencies compared to the previous week—and a LBP 342.72 billion decrease in term and savings deposits in LBP during the week.

As such, the rate of broad money dollarization increased from 97.675% in the week ending October 30th, 2025 to 97.712% in the week ending November 6th, 2025.
