BDL’s latest statistics on money supply revealed that Broad Money (M3) increased by LBP 9,302.31 billion to stand at LBP 6,032,316 billion ($67.4 billion) by the week ending November 27th, 2025. Furthermore, M3 decreased by 2.91% year-over-year, and by 1.96% year to date (YTD).

In details, M1 expanded by LBP 2,949.08 billion during the week of 20 to 27 November 2025, due to an increase in demand deposits of LBP 3,025 billion and a decrease in currency in circulation of LBP 75.92 billion.

In turn, total deposits (excluding demand deposits) rose by LBP 6,353.23 billion ($71 million), owing to an increase of $70.02 million in deposits denominated in foreign currencies and progress in term and saving deposits in LBP by LBP 86.6 billion during the week.                

As such, the rate of broad money dollarization decreased from 97.68% in the week ending November 20th, 2025 to 97.63% in the week ending November 27th, 2025.
