Negative Performance on the Beirut Stock Exchange on Tuesday

With four out of the seven traded stocks ending in the red today, the BLOM Stock Index (BSI) lost 0.18% to 1,145.43 points, following the trade of 94,050 shares worth $757,784. In the banking sector, BLOM GDR shares and Audi listed shares fell by 0.31% and 0.67% to close the session at $9.63 and $5.97, respectively. In contrast, BLOM common shares augmented by 0.11% to settle at $9.41. Meanwhile, BLOM preferred shares 2011 traded with no change in price. In the real estate sector, Solidere shares class “B” declined by 0.50% to end at $10.05 while Solidere shares class “A” exchanged hands at their previous quote of $10.05. In the industrial sector, Holcim shares went down by 0.48% to $14.45.
