The Beirut Stock Exchange Starts the Week in the Green

The Lebanese Bourse experienced a positive performance on Monday. The BLOM Stock Index (BSI) rose by 0.22% to reach 1,149.77, contracting its year-to-date loss to 1.75%. In the banking sector,  Byblos Listed shares, BLOM GDR shares and Audi GDR shares went up by 1.86%, 0.52% and 0.50% to stand at $1.64, $9.75 and $6.00, respectively. Similarly, Byblos preferred shares 2008 gained 0.30% to settle at $100.80. Audi listed shares lost 0.50% to end up at $5.95 while BoB preferred shares class “I” and Audi preferred shares class “G” traded with no change in price. In the real estate sector, Solidere “A” shares decreased by 0.78% to reach $10.16 whilst Solidere B shares grew by 0.49% to hit $10.34. In the industrial sector, Holcim shares increased by 3.31% to end the session at $14.99.
