Positive Performance on the Lebanese Bourse Today

The Beirut Stock Exchange (BSE) started the week on a positive note as the BLOM Stock Index (BSI) increased by 0.07% on Monday to 1,146.59 points following the trade of 208,317 shares worth $2,283,767. The BSI registered a 2.02% year-to-date decrease, and a 2.37% drop from its value a year ago. In the banking sector, Audi listed and GDR shares gained 0.34% and 0.33% to settle at respective quotes of $5.99 and $6.02. Meanwhile, BLOM GDR shares, Byblos preferred shares 2008, Bank of Beirut preferred shares class “H” and Bemo preferred shares 2013 traded with no change in price. In the real estate sector, Solidere shares class “A” dropped by 0.20% to end the session  at $10.05 while its “B” shares augmented by 0.10% to end up at $10.10.In the industrial sector, Holcim shares traded with no change in price.
