Real Estate Sector Drived the Lebanese Bourse Upwards on Friday

The Beirut Stock Exchange (BSE) illustrated some pull today due to Solidere shares ending in the green for the first time in 12 sessions. The BLOM Stock Index (BSI) went up by 0.85% on Friday to 1,131.22 points following the trade of 145,793 shares worth $1,310,434. In the real estate sector, Solidere shares class “A” and “B” partially recovered, gaining 7.51% and 3.87% to end up at $9.59 and $9.39, respectively.   In the banking sector, BLOM listed shares and Audi preferred shares class “F” gained 0.53% and 0.40% to settle at $9.45 and $101.50, respectively. In contrast, BEMO common shares declined by 18.42% to close the session at $1.55. Meanwhile, the listed shares of Bank of Beirut and Byblos were traded with no change in price.
