Real Estate Sector Holds Back the Lebanese Bourse on Friday

The Lebanese Bourse ended witnessed a poor performance today on the back of negative outlook in the real estate sector. Consequently, the BLOM Stock Index (BSI) illustrated a 0.53% decline to 1,167.91 points, registering a year to date loss of 1.27%. In the real estate sector, Solidere shares class “A” and “B” downturned by 0.99% and 1.08% to settle at respective quotes of $10.99 and $10.94. In the banking sector, listed and GDR shares of Bank Audi dropped by 1.17% and 1.96% to close the session at $5.93 and $6.00, respectively. In contrast, the preferred shares classes “B” and “C” of BLC increased by 0.50% and 1.00% to end up at $100.50 and $101.00.
