Slight Slip on the Lebanese Bourse on Tuesday
The Lebanese Bourse witnessed a slight drop its performance despite a good showing in the real estate market. The BLOM Stock Index (BSI) slipped by 0.04% to 1,177.77 points, narrowing its year-to-date gains to 0.64%. In the real estate sector, Solidere class “A” and “B” shares increased by 0.35% and 0.71% to $11.36 and $11.33, respectively. In the banking sector, Bank Audi listed shares fell by 0.83% to settle at $5.95 while BLOM GDR shares gained 0.20% to $10.02. Meanwhile, 50,000 BLOM GDR shares were cross traded at their previous quote of $9.60.
