The Lebanese Bourse Closed in the Green Today Despite Frail Trading Volume

The Beirut Stock Exchange (BSE) experienced a 65-week low in terms of trading activity, where only 3,740 shares were traded worth $32,561. However, the BLOM Stock Index (BSI) gained 0.54% on Monday to 1,140.93, registering a 2.51% year-to-date (y-t-d) downtick, and a 3.19% decline (y-o-y). In the banking sector, Bank Audi listed shares recovered, increasing by 3.42% to close the session at $5.75. Meanwhile, Bank Audi GDR shares and BLOM Bank preferred shares 2011 traded with no change in price.  In the real estate sector, Solidere class “A” shares augmented by 0.20% to $10.19 while its class “B” declined by 0.68% to settle at $10.16.
