The Lebanese Bourse Improves for the 4th Session In a Row

For the fourth time this week, the Lebanese bourse managed to close in the green despite the failure of 26th parliamentary session in electing a president. In fact, the BLOM Stock Index (BSI) rose by 0.08% on Thursday to 1,189.72 points, following the trade of 70,631 shares worth $956,498. In the real estate sector, Solidere A shares gained 1.71% to $11.91, while Solidere B shares posted a 1.44% downtick to $11.61. In the banking sector, the preferred shares of Byblos class 08 and 09 dropped by 0.30% and 0.39% to $100.20 and $100.90, respectively. Separately, the listed shares of Byblos and BLOM traded with no change in price.
