Beirut Stock Exchange Showed Weak Performance Today
The Beirut Stock Exchange (BSE) ended today’s session in the red, with the BLOM Stock Index (BSI) decreasing by 0.66% to 1,151.53 points following the trade of 92,172 shares worth $1,003,688.
In the real estate sector, Solidere shares classes “A” and “B” lost 1.20% and 4.58% to $10.69 and $10.22, respectively.
In the banking sector, BLOM GDR shares and Byblos preferred shares 2009 added 0.52% and 0.69% to $9.60 and $101.70, respectively.
In contrast, the listed shares of BLOM, Audi, and Byblos dropped 0.11%, 0.67%, and 1.23% to $9.39, $5.90, and $1.61, respectively.
As for BLOM preferred shares 2011, they were traded with no change in price.
In the industrial sector, HOLCIM shares traded with no change in price.
