The Number of Airport Passengers Reached 3.38M by June 2016
The Rafic Hariri International Airport activity grew during June 2016, where the total number of passengers increased by a yearly 8.51% to 3.38M.
In details, the number of arrivals to Lebanon went up by 8.97% Y-o-Y from 1.55M by June 2015 to 1.69M in the same period of 2016. Also, this period witnessed a 7.93% yearly increase in departures, which reached 1.68M by June 2016, versus 1.56M by June 2015.
As for the number of transit passengers, it rose 30.32% from 8,579 passengers by June 2015 to 11,180 passengers by June 2016.
