The Number of Airport Passengers Reached 5.19M by August 2016
The Rafic Hariri International Airport activity rose during August 2016, where the total number of passengers increased by a yearly 8.12% to 5.19M.
The number of arrivals to Lebanon went up by 8.84% y-o-y from 2.38M by August 2015 to 2.59M in the same period of 2016. Also, this period witnessed a 7.62% yearly increase in departures, which reached 2.59M by August 2016, versus 2.40M by August 2015.
As for the number of transit passengers, it fell 23.05% from 15,530 passengers by August 2015 to 11,950 passengers by August 2016.
