Real Estate Sector Boosted the Lebanese Bourse on Monday
The Beirut Stock Exchange witnessed forward momentum at the start of the week, as the BLOM Stock Index (BSI) recorded an increase of 0.52% to close at 1,230.01 points. This uptick was mainly attributed to the trading of Solidere shares which accumulated 94.84% of traded volume. In saying that, Solidere class “A” and “B” shares gained 0.42% and 0.09% to end at respective quotes of $11.80 and $11.67. In the banking sector, BLOM Bank common shares upturned by 3.71% to $9.50 while Bank Audi listed and Byblos Bank preferred 08 shares traded with no change in price.
