The BLOM Bond Index (BBI), which tracks Lebanese government Eurobonds (excluding coupon payments), fell by 2.93% in the week ending May 14th 2026, closing at 27.01 points, driven by continued security and political tensions related to the situation in the Middle East. However, BBI improved significantly by 12.15% YTD. And as bond prices decreases, yields increase and so the weighted yield rose by 308 basis points to 59.86%.
