The Lebanese Bourse Experienced Poor Performance on Friday

The Lebanese Bourse ended Today’s in the red as the BLOM Stock Index (BSI) that decreased by 0.13% to 1,145.79 points following the trade of 110,451 shares worth $882,135. The BSI registered a 2.09% year-to date decrease, and 2.44% drop from its value a year ago. In the banking sector, Byblos listed shares and preferred shares 2009 and Bank Audi listed shares declined by 1.23%, 0.10% and 0.50% to settle at respective quotes of $1.60, $100.90 and $5.97. In contrast, Bank Audi GDR shares, BLOM Bank listed and preferred shares 2011 and Bank Audi preferred shares class “F” gained 0.17%, 0.53%, 0.10% and 0.10% to close the session at $6.00, $9.45, $10.16 and $100.70, respectively. Meanwhile, Bank of Beirut preferred shares class “H” traded with no change in price.  In the real estate sector, Solidere shares class “A” dropped by 0.40% to end the session  at $10.07 while its “B” shares augmented by 0.40% to end up at $10.09.
