Lebanese Bourse Ended in the Green Despite Frail Trading on Tuesday

The Beirut Stock Exchange recorded another positive performance toady just ahead of the 3rd round of political dialogue.. Accordingly, the BLOM Stock Index (BSI) increased by 0.16% on Tuesday to 1,148.43 points following the trade of 13,335 shares worth $301,586, compared to 208,317 traded shares worth $2.28M yesterday. Furthermore, the Lebanese gauge registered a 1.87% year-to-date decline, and 2.63% drop from its value a year ago. In the banking sector, Bank Audi preferred shares class “H” gained 0.10% to settle at $101.10 while BLOM Bank GDR shares lost 0.10% to close the session at $9.65.  Meanwhile, BLOM Bank listed shares and Byblos preferred shares 2008 traded with no change in price. In the real estate sector, Solidere shares class “A” gained 1.59% to end the session at $10.21 while the “B” shares exchanged hands at its previous quote of $10.10.
