Solidere Stocks Held Back the Lebanese Bourse on Thursday

As the real estate sector saw a lackluster performance, the BLOM Stock Index (BSI) lost 0.21% to 1,157.08 points following the trade of 108,392 shares worth $1,851,152. In details, Solidere shares classes “A” and “B” lost 0.77% and 2.12% to close at $10.25 and $10.16, respectively. In the banking sector, Byblos Bank preferred shares 2008 decreased by 0.30% to $101.20. In contrast, Bank of Beirut listed shares, BLC preferred shares class “B” and Bank Audi preferred shares class “F” each gained 0.27%, 1.99% and 0.20% to end the trading day at respective prices of $18.80, $102.50 and $101.70. Meanwhile, BLOM Bank GDRs traded with no change in price.
