Lebanese Eurobonds Remained Unchanged on Thursday

Demand for Lebanese Eurobonds remained stable on Thursday, as the BLOM Bond Index (BBI) ticked down by a mere 0.01% to 103.62 points.

Yields on the 5Y and 10Y Lebanese Eurobonds remained unchanged at 6.25% and 6.77%, respectively.

As for the US, demand for the 5Y US treasuries went down on Thursday, causing the spread between the 5Y yield on the Lebanese Eurobonds and that of their US counterparts to narrow by 2 bps to 486 bps.

Lebanon’s 5Y Credit Default Swaps (CDS) widened slightly from their previous bid-ask range of 454-474 bps to 455-475 bps.
