The Lebanese Bourse Gained for the Seventh Consecutive Day

The Lebanese Bourse experienced a 7th consecutive positive session as the BLOM Stock Index (BSI) increased by 0.19% to 1,192.19 points following the trade of 37,168 shares worth $348,824. The BSI registered a 1.87% rise since the start of the year, and a 0.01% uptick from its value a year ago.  In the banking sector, Bank Audi listed shares, Byblos Bank preferred shares 2008 and Bank Audi preferred shares class “G” gained respective amounts of 1.66%, 1.30% and 0.40% to settle at $6.11, $101.50 and $100.50. Meanwhile, listed shares of Byblos Bank, Bank of Beirut and BLOM Bank traded with no change in price. In the real estate sector, Solidere “A” shares augmented 0.08% to $11.92, while Solidere “B” shares dropped by 1.76% to close the session at $11.71.
