Lackluster Performance Characterized the Lebanese Bourse Today

The Lebanese Bourse showed a lackluster as four out of the nine traded stocks ended in the red with 133,991 shares traded worth $1.21M on Friday.  The BLOM Stock Index (BSI) fell by 0.45% to 1,168.91 points, widening its year-to-date loss to 0.12%. In the real estate sector, Solidere A and B shares were marked by a 1.26% and 1.46% drop to settle at $10.95 and $10.76, respectively. In the banking sector, Byblos listed shares lost 0.61% to conclude the session at $1.64 while Audi preferred shares class H were the only gainers on today’s session with a 0.10% increase to end up at $100.70.  Meanwhile, BLOM GDR shares, BLOM preferred shares 2011, Byblos preferred shares 2008 and Audi preferred shares class G traded without any change in price. In the Industrial sector, Holcim shares decreased by 4.50% to reach $15.28
