Lebanese Bourse Recovered from Some of Wednesday’s Losses

The Lebanese Bourse recovered some of Wednesday’s losses today, as four of the seven traded stocks ended in the green. Consequently, the BLOM Stock Index (BSI) went up by 0.095% to 1,189.39 points, broadening its year-to-date gains to 1.63%. In the real estate sector, Solidere shares class “A” and “B” increased by 0.26% and 1.13% to close the session at $11.59 and $11.64, respectively. In the banking sector, Byblos Bank listed and BLOM GDR shares up-ticked by 0.63% and 0.50% to close at respective quotes of $1.61 and $10.00. In contrast Bank Audi common shares declined by 0.65% to $6.11, while its GDR shares traded with no change in price. Similarly, 111,148 BLOM listed shares were cross traded and exchanged hands at their previous quote of $9.66.
