Slow Activity Witnessed on the Lebanese Bourse on Tuesday

Despite the slow activity witnessed on Tuesday, the BLOM Stock Index (BSI) recorded its highest year-to-date of 5.65%. This was translated by a 0.87% increase in the Lebanese gauge to 1,236.40 points. In the banking sector, Bank Audi listed shares gained 3.56% to $6.99, while its GDR shares lost 0.14% to settle at $6.89. Moreover, BLOM Bank common shares edged up by 0.41% to close the session at $9.80. In the real estate sector, Solidere class “A” and “B” shares augmented by 0.72% and 1.26% to $11.23 and $11.25, respectively.
